ENERGY AGGREGATION

Small shifts. Shared potential.

Demand-side flexibility means changing when electricity is used, or temporarily adjusting demand within agreed operating limits.

01

What could be flexible?

EV charging, suitable heating and hot-water systems, batteries and other controllable loads may offer flexibility. Equipment ratings alone do not prove available capacity.

02

How aggregation could work

An aggregator coordinates multiple authorised resources to meet a specific requirement. Location, timing, duration, equipment access and customer constraints all matter.

03

What GWERA does today

Our tools build Energy Profiles, estimate potential capacity using stated assumptions and support simulated Flex events. Estimates are kept distinct from available and verified capacity.

04

What comes next

Compatible connections, explicit control authorisation, operational testing and measurement would be required before real dispatch. Buyer arrangements and settlement would need to be established before any market revenue.

Power Doctor and business assessments open in the existing GWERA application, which continues to handle sign-in, reports and saved data.
